Signs of accumulation in Santiment’s data offer some support, yet Dogecoin (DOGE) remains below $0.081 on Thursday and under pressure after a modest recovery earlier this week. Wednesday’s announcement that Dogecoin Labs had partnered with the Dogecoin Foundation also lends a slightly bullish tone to sentiment.

The meme coin’s recovery nevertheless remains constrained by mixed derivatives readings and deteriorating momentum indicators.
Buying by some large-wallet holders, known as whales, is cushioning DOGE’s decline, according to Santiment’s Supply Distribution data, lending support to a slightly bullish outlook.
Since Tuesday, wallets holding between 1 million and 10 million tokens (yellow line) and between 10 million and 100 million tokens (blue line) have added 170 million DOGE tokens, the metric shows. This accumulation has helped underpin a modest recovery.

Products, intellectual property and development teams supporting the Dogecoin ecosystem are being brought together within a single independent organisation, Dogecoin Labs. On Wednesday, Labs announced that it had been established in partnership with the Dogecoin Foundation.
The DogeOS press release stated: “Led by CEO Jordan Jefferson, founder of MyDoge and DogeOS, Labs will combine application infrastructure, consumer distribution and development expertise to build an economy around DOGE at the scale of its global community,”
Ownership and operation of MyDoge, DogeOS and Such App will sit with Dogecoin Labs. Both the Dogecoin Foundation and House of Doge are contributing intellectual property and development teams.
By seeking to simplify development, bolster the ecosystem’s infrastructure and broaden DOGE’s real-world uses, these partnerships could underpin a bullish longer-term outlook.
A reading of 0.80 in CoinGlass’ DOGE long-to-short ratios on Thursday, close to the lowest level in over a month, points to caution in the derivatives market. Readings below one signal bearish sentiment, reflecting traders’ bets on falling asset prices.

A more mildly bullish signal comes from Dogecoin’s funding rates, which turned positive on Monday and stood at 0.0055% on Thursday. Positive rates indicate that long positions are paying short positions.

A bearish picture for Dogecoin emerges from CryptoQuant’s summary data. Large whale orders feature in DOGE’s futures market, while overheating conditions are evident in both markets. Sellers also dominate spot and futures trading, underlining the cautious, bearish bias among traders in the dog-themed meme coin.

At $0.080 on Thursday, Dogecoin remains beneath its main Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs), leaving the near-term bias bearish. A concentrated band of overhead supply comprises the 100-day EMA at roughly $0.085, the 50-day EMA near $0.086 and the previously breached ascending trendline, now around $0.088. Further overhead, the 200-day EMA near $0.092 adds to the broader resistance.
With the Relative Strength Index (RSI) edging just below the neutral 50 mark and the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) line remaining below zero, momentum is still subdued. Rallies could therefore struggle for as long as these barriers hold.
The first resistance area lies at $0.085–$0.086, where the 100-day and 50-day EMAs cluster. Next comes the convergence of former rising trendline support and a horizontal barrier near $0.088. Above this, the 200-day EMA around $0.092 presents a more distant obstacle, ahead of the key horizontal ceiling at approximately $0.102.
Immediate downside support lies around $0.077. A decisive breach would leave the pair vulnerable to further losses; holding above that floor, however, would preserve consolidation within the existing range, which retains a bearish bias.
