US Treasury Secretary Bessent backs Japan's steps, presses G20 on Iran

The US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that Japan is taking the right steps for its economy, and that G20 finance ministers want more growth.

Furthermore, Bessent said it’s unclear whether G-20 ministers will take the “steps necessary” to achieve higher economic growth, noting that the world needs to protect trade and factory jobs from China’s exports.
