Is USD/CAD good to trade?

USD/CAD is a widely traded major currency pair with high liquidity, active movement during the North American session, and well-known fundamental drivers. Traders often monitor both currency market conditions and the oil market when analysing USD/CAD.

Oil matters because Canada is a major crude exporter, so the Canadian dollar tends to strengthen when oil prices rise and weaken when they fall. Because the Canadian dollar is the quote currency, that gives USD/CAD a recurring inverse relationship with crude oil prices that you can factor into your analysis. Traders often monitor WTI crude prices alongside US and Canadian interest-rate decisions when analysing the pair.
